Role Summary:Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC Target product development and manufacturing processes. Primary assignments include, but are not limited to: updating engineering drawings, perform verification and validation of production processes, develop technical work instructions. Additional assignments include; set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Utilizing initiative and independent judgment, construct and assist in evaluating engineering models.

+ Update engineering drawings / shop floor drawings using Solid Works.

+ Perform Verification & Validation of production fixtures; conduct measurement of fixtures (cmm / coating / machine) and complete compliance documentation.

+ Develop (in conjunction with engineers and production associates) Standard Work Instructions (technical instruction) and Equipment Operating Instruction (technical equipment instructions).

+ Perform basic trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution.

+ Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.

+ Utilize basic technical communications throughout the new product cycle to improve internal models and/or externally sourced components in terms of system performance, reliability, functionality, and serviceability.

+ Provide evaluation, constructive feedback and leadership in the development of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation.

+ Develop and execute training plans as required

+ Provide strong individual contributions in the context of achieving team goals.

+ General direction is given in the execution of job related activities.

+ Comply with EHS regulations and policies.

Qualifications/Requirements:Quality Specific Goals:

+ Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

+ Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

+ Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

+ Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Design Controls Procedures in order to ensure that specified design requirements are met.

+ Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records.

Required Qualifications:

+ Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineer / Manufacturing Industrial Technology, or High School diploma and 2 years mechanical engineering / manufacturing industrial technology experience

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office, word and excel.

+ 1 year Solid Works computer automated control experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

Desired Characteristics:Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology related field

+ Completion of relevant manufacturing certificate program

+ AutoCAD experience

+ CNC Machining skills

+ Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information

+ Demonstrate an ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology

+ Ability to communicate using local language
