Job Summary | The Engineer III position will be responsible for supporting KTC Technology Transfer (T2) Program, Local Government Outreach initiatives to ensure the timely and effective delivery of the Safety Circuit Rider Program, Local Road Safety Program, other local government technical assistance efforts, as well as support the T2 Training and Marketing efforts, as needed. This position requires excellent data analysis, roadway engineering and communication skills to communicate solutions effectively to elected officials, county road supervisors, and other transportation officials/staff. It is anticipated that this position will require travel 1-2 days per week to support technical assistance and training needs. The majority of travel will be in-state with some overnight travel required. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Facility with office softwares and understanding of operational premises of statistical analysis, database management, geographic information systems and internets/intranets. |
