**Job Description**

**The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering a comprehensive solution vision, digital journey and compelling business cases based on GE Digital Manufacturing Software & Services. They work collaboratively with the sales team, product development, operations, marketing and services to support and close major transactions.**

**Successful applicants will need to demonstrate deep knowledge of the solutions and offerings and be capable of leading and designing a complete digitalization roadmap based on the full offering of GE Digital Manufacturing Software & Services.**

**This is a customer facing role that requires highly motivated individuals with excellent business, industry and technical knowledge along with strong consultative and communication skills to position GE Digital Manufacturing Solutions & Services with existing and new clients.**


+ **You will need to be able to understand and determine, existing prospective clients critical business strategy needs and executive vision using strong knowledge of; IT/OT, Cloud Architecture, Process and discrete Industries, Digital 4.0 trends and best practices.**

+ **Report directly to the head of region to support and deliver on regional commercial software license targets.**

+ **Develop a comprehensive Digitalization journey, Solution Vision and enterprise Value Map that aligns to the complete offering of GE Digital Solutions, which are the best match for the customers vision.**

+ **Trusted advisor working with customer senior executives to influence and agree on an execution IT/OT plan.**

+ **Support and develop a partner Ecosystem to maximize the value derived from GE Digital Manufacturing Solutions.**

+ **Work directly with the head of the region to develop a clear go to marketing strategy for GE Digitals Manufacturing cloud offerings.**

+ **Accountable to consult with customers and advise on the relevant GE Digital Solutions. Service and establish a credible value proposition**

+ **Lead value discovery customer sessions, assessing customer needs and developing solutions working with other subject matter Solution Business Development Managers and cross functional teams.**

+ **Develop and execute strategies and plans together with the sales teams, to help qualify business opportunities, to identify key customer technical challenges and to develops solutions to meet the business needs.**

+ **Work with the sales team to best position the Value and Differentiation of the GE Digital Solution and to navigate customers key stakeholders, decision makers and the political environment.**

+ **Actively engage with the wider Solution Architects to provide mentorship to develop those individuals into higher levels of competencies, especially in consultative selling acumen and industry knowledge areas.**


+ **Proven experience in Business Development Manager, Pre-sales, or Professional services**

+ **Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships.**

+ **Excellent consultative skills with proven experience presenting, advising and achieving buy-in from senior executives (managers, directors, VPs, CMOs, and CXOs).**

+ **Strong knowledge of the multiple industry sectors industries to be able to discuss credibly the key industry trends, challenges and opportunities as well as being able to benchmark where the specific customer is versus peers.**

+ **Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills to convert customer needs into comprehensive solution visions, value propositions and execution plans positioning the value of the complete GE Digital portfolio leading to major transactions.**

+ **Experience working with Sales teams, Solutions Business Development Managers and Services Engineers to drive major engagements leading to large transactions.**

+ **Balance of business and technology acumen, including ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and the differentiated value those solutions can provide.**

+ **Bachelors degree and or MSc in relevant technical subject preferred.**

+ **Understanding of one or more of the following functions in the multiple industry sectors, IT/OT, Cloud, Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution System, Real Time/Historian database, Enterprise Analytics.**

+ **Familiarity with GE Digital's tools and solution is desirable**

+ **High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies in a wide variety of disciplines**

+ **Multi Language skills are desirable along with excellent English skills (verbal and written)**

+ **Extensive travel across EMEA.**
