We are looking for a Electro-mechanical Assembler to join our team!

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Works as an effective team member to perform tasks such as intermediate electro-mechanical assembly. Assembles and solders simple sub-assemblies and circuit boards utilizing manufacturing procedures and blueprints under intermediate guidance.
- Performs intermediate electro-mechanical assembly following manufacturing procedures and blueprints.
- Performs intermediate through-hole soldering, sub-assembly and unit assembly and ensures that quality standards are met.
- Completes work order documentation for completed assemblies.
- Cross trains and maintains certification across all operations within sub-assembly work area.
- Trains others in basic operations where certification is maintained.
- Works effectively with other team members to ensure that quality and delivery expectations are met.
- Follows policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintains clean and organized work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Proficient in basic math
- Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures
- Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness
- Ability to visually and mentally concentrate for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds without assistance; sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Proven ability to use power and hand tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization
- Ability to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- Ability to proficiently solder components.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
