**Job Description Summary**

GE is looking to recruit an EHS Tools and Programme Manager and Sustainability Lead to work in our renewable energy business. The role will typically be in shared service; may support multiple businesses, but not necessarily. Subject matter experts will generally fall into this category. Typically HQ Jobs and NOT on site. For client facing roles, use Operational EHS family. Impacts the teams ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

**Job Description**

**This role is responsible for the overall coordination, analysis and implementation of environmental, health and safety programs, tools and reporting. The role also lead the sustainability strategy for the Grid Solutions business.**


+ Develop business specific Sustainability strategy based on materiality assessment (value chain hotspots, customer requirements, risk mgmt., brand differentiation) with key stakeholders, and supported by central team

+ Coordinate deployment of Sustainability strategy, track and report progress to key stakeholders

+ Support commercial teams in customer responses for Sustainability information and collaboration potential

+ Promote internal sustainable development strategy through internal and external communication.

+ Foster employee engagement, educate and inspire internal and external stakeholders on Sustainability

+ Lead/coordinate data collection, internal verification, coordination

+ Flag business specific market or regulatory trends for the REN Sustainability team to be aware of

+ Network with other P&L Leads to ensure alignment and seek synergies wherever possible

+ Support introduction of eco-design practices and product sustainability improvements

**Programs & tools:**

+ Support the reporting activity, maintain coherency, Consolidate EHS data for the business

+ Create and maintain EHS reporting mechanisms for the business.

+ Ensure relevant safety and environmental compliance records are maintained for completeness and verify accuracy of records.

+ Maintain and develop EHS IT tools and process for Grid

+ Is the Point of contact for all EHS process and tools (Gensuite, Sofi, Complywork smartsheet, intranet...)

+ Update, publish and distribute EHS performance charts and dashboards.

+ Train, answer or support newcomers regarding tools.

+ Support the implementation of EHS programs across Grid like certifications, Audit program , EHS trainings and the EHS management system.


+ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related EHS field.

+ EHS experience, with exposure to several EHS areas in a Projects/Plants

+ Strong knowledge on project management on EPC structure, Turnkey, Civil work activity, construction & commissioning.

+ Renewable products, as (Wind, on /off shore, Hydro, Geothermal, Solar, Tidal) knowledge will help to the success of this role


+ Strong leadership and influencing skills

+ Strong program management skills

+ Outstanding communication skills

+ Fluent English and French. Portuguese/Spanish would be a plus.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities

+ High energy, self-starter

+ Practical experience in risk elimination, project management

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Initiative and a global mindset

+ Excellent Software knowledge (Excel, Power Point, Share tools, BI )

+ Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
