Role Summary:The Vertical Solution Sales Manager Asia is responsible for supporting the expansion of GE Digitals Ecosystem & Channels (E&C) business across the Asia region. The geographic scope includes Greater China, Japan, South Korea, selected ASEAN countries, ANZ and India. This role reports to the E&C Regional Leader - Asia. As a member of the E&C Asia team you will support the broader mission of developing a thriving partner ecosystem that drives profitable growth for GE Digital.

Essential Responsibilities: Develop joint and channel sales strategy for maximizing the use of the GE Digital product portfolio in targeted industry, including determination of size and buying power for industry customer sets for targeted industry and strategic accounts coverage model with channel partners.

Develop prospects and pipeline on new areas of application for GE Digital offerings, through a clear plan in key verticals and leverage GEDs Channel / Reseller Partner portfolio in Asia.

Develop and execute targeted industry vertical GE Digital solution programs to key strategic prospects and value chain / ecosystem. Executes mid to long term strategy to achieve proliferation of adoption in related industry verticals and adjacent market.

Engage directly with C-suite and senior management executives at targeted industry vertical accounts and key channel partner network. Bring and onboard strategic partner to Asia Ecosystem and Channel.

Work with cross functional teams on demand generation activities. Build vertical market sales programs to commercial team for continued success and broad execution.

Serve as one of the key point of contacts for competitive sales programs including partnering with internal and external resources to achieve sales and competitive replacements in accounts

Increase business by driving sales, industry literacy and technical capability internally and externally (work closely with the Channel Sales, Solution Architect, Services team). Works with partners to uncover opportunities for competitive replacement and wider use of GE Digital products

Create strategic, effective and actionable key industry coverage and key account plans that define a clear growth strategy and a solid action plan across and within the covered vertical accounts

Report out regularly to your immediate manager and GE Digital senior management stakeholders on regional channel development strategies and the status of region-wide development plan.

Develop and manage a healthy and predictable sales pipeline that meets or exceeds quota expectations

Develop and close opportunities by ensuring that a virtual team which consists of both internal and external resources is well-organized and leveraged around accounts and opportunities

Work with GE Digital Partner Marketing and Operations teams to execute integrated partner recruiting and on-boarding campaigns

Ensure newly recruited Channel Partners are being managed effectively with a documented go to market strategy and approved Business Plan with mutually-agreed measures of success (i.e. order/bookings, resource development, etc.)

Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews reporting on the state of the GE Digital Asia business. This may also include third party distribution strategies and plans.

Develop and manage a healthy and predictable sales pipeline that meets or exceeds quota expectations

Develop and close opportunities by ensuring that a virtual team which consists of both internal and external resources is well-organized and leveraged around accounts and opportunities

Orchestrate with global teams to develop and execute market-relevant, cost-effective plans for regional marketing, partner enablement and training events. This may include sales enablement, training on product demonstration systems and/or Solution Provider (SP) implementation training

Ensure GE compliance and risk guidelines are met at all times.

Coordinate voice of the customer activities and collaborating with Product Marketing for NPI

Coordinate with marketing/sales ops as required for on-going program execution

Work with finance/sales operations to ensure performance targets are met, co-op payments, and commission payments are accurate and paid out in a timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree

5 to 8 + years of professional experience in sales, business development, and/or solution architect

Strong background in and understanding of resell / channel partner business models.

Must be willing to travel

Must be willing to work from a GE office located in China, Singapore, Korea, Australia

Willingness to travel 60% to 70% of the time.
