What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Overseeing supplier governance and supplier performance meetings, financial oversight and operating reviews
  • Developing effective partnerships with suppliers
  • Measuring supplier performance management
  • Facilitating establishment of outsourcing standards and ensuring harmonization across provider types
  • Coordinating outsourcing decisions
  • Mentoring/training and developing career of staff
  • Staff performance management, coaching and HR administration
  • Department resource and budget management

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS/BSc or RN
  • Extensive years work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including broad biopharmaceutical clinical research experience (clinical-research experience obtained working on clinical trials at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company)
  • Previous management experience of direct reports, including management-level staff
  • Experience at, or oversight of, clinical research suppliers (CROs, central labs, imaging suppliers, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD, PharmD, Master's Degree Knowledge:
  • Experience working in a global, matrix organization
  • Previous management experience of direct reports, including management level staff
  • Experience at, or oversight of, clinical research suppliers (CROs, central labs, imaging suppliers, etc.)
  • Experience writing and communicating clearly on scientific and clinical issues
  • Experience leading teams in a matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, supervisory skills
