DIRECTOR OCM

The Director of the OCM Center of Excellence will be responsible for building enterprise-wide change capability within Target by focusing on staying abreast of industry trends, behavior adoption and measurement, developing what is represented in the T&C portfolio and continue to build change capability in Target at large.

The Director will also support specific culture change initiatives to support cultural adoption of Targets purpose, beliefs, and behaviors in service to Targets long-term goals. He/she/they will provide leadership to the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team presenting challenging opportunities that enable team growth and team member development.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position leads the OCM Center of Excellence (COE) to

  • Work with the T&C client engagement teams to understand what change capability needs are emerging in the business that need to be fulfilled
  • Increase the capability of team members, leaders and sponsors to understand change leadership principles and measures readiness to effectively lead organizational change.
  • Support client engagement team members in applying the newest and most innovative ways to drive behavior change within the business
  • Build measurement strategies for behavior changes and influences others to do the same
  • Leads the development of OCM strategies and plans and the adoption of best practice processes for enterprise culture initiatives, such as purpose adoption and learning culture, etc.
  • Promote use of best practices and consistent methodologies; ensures business teams leverage existing systems, process and approaches as appropriate
  • Innovate best practices by staying abreast of market and industry trends and applying relevant trends to Target
  • Manage team members, providing leadership, coaching and feedback to individuals to ensure teamwork and high performance.
  • Ensure strong partnership with T&C client engagement and HR Generalists in engaging business leaders in the application of change methodologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree B.A./B.S.
  • Minimum 8-10 years business experience
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience presenting to senior management; influencing without authority
  • Knowledge of Target systems and processes
  • Knowledge of change methodologies, behavioral science, social change and choice architecture
  • Experience managing and measuring culture change
  • Experience using data and insights to inform strategies
  • Strong measurement acumen
  • MBA
