Ribometrix is seeking to fill the role of Director/VP Human Resources with an experienced professional who has built young teams, managed company growth, and implemented policies, procedures and practices that support and facilitate the development of a biotech company's most important resource, the individuals that bring the passion, innovation, character, and personality (Talent). Leadership for all Human Resources related functions, policies, practices, and employment regulatory compliance in conjunction with and reporting to the COO/CFO.

Member of the senior management team responsible for corporate strategy and execution

Talent Forecasting and Acquisition

  • Talent forecasting: Provide a strategic view of forecasting entity level Talent resources with senior management and a tactical view of Talent recourses in collaborate with operational management. Identify entity level and department level Talent gaps based on business needs and the corporate operating plan.
  • Talent acquisition: Lead, develop and evolve the Talent acquisition process including: Collaboration with hiring manager to develop job profiles, establish compensation levels, approval process to initiate job search, develop policy and manage candidate screening and interviewing process, negotiating candidate compensation, conduct interviews and onboarding/orientation for new employees.

Talent Development

  • Coordinate, execute and evolve the entity wide Performance Management process with the goal of providing periodic, equitable and balanced performance feedback to all employees with the following objectives: (1) serve as an objective basis for compensation, (2) support promotion decisions, and (3) assist in guiding individuals in achieving their professional growth and goals.
  • Consistent with each employee's professional goals and in conjunction with the entities Performance Management system, develop talent specific training and professional growth programming.
  • Coach and assist managers on a variety of employee related topics such as performance management and other topics.
  • Maintain employee relations, guide and support social committee activities,

Talent Compensation and Benefits

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering compensation and benefit policies in conjunction with C-Level management
  • Monitoring entity salary structure and benefits while balancing cost control with the goal to attract and retain staff.

Human resources administration related infrastructure and resources

  • Human resources compliance documentation
  • Human Resources Information Systems
  • Selection and management of any external consulting relationship supporting HR related function, including compensation consultants, recruiter, or headhunter resources.

  • Demonstrated experience building teams of highly educated professional in high-growth biopharma companies.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills, with a proven ability to act in a consultative role, to all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with all traditional employee compensation and benefits programs, including evaluation, selection, implementation, and execution across a broad employee population.
  • SPHR certification required.
  • BS degree in a related field required (MS preferred).
  • Director 10+ years progressive HR generalist experience, VP 20+ years of experience.
