Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm. Additional work outside these hours may be required based on department needs.
Job Summary
The Director of Healthcare Recruiting develops and implements effective recruitment strategies and staffing plans at all levels of University of Kentucky HealthCare, as well as designs strategic approaches to attract qualified candidates. They oversee daily operations of the recruitment team, providing guidance and leadership as the team sources and recruits.

The successful candidate will be a recognized leader who is highly proficient in developing strategies, setting goals, allocating resources, and providing innovative solutions to complex recruitment issues. They will possess strong leadership characteristics specifically related to communication, and developing strong cohesive and effective teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective recruitment strategies in a large Health System environment.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will posses strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and networking skills as well as a demonstrated ability to focus on multiple roles simultaneously while delivering a consistently stellar candidate experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be driven to achieve and outperform, continuously look for improvements, and will accept responsibilities for actions and results. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet recruitment preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience
Talent acquisition or recruitment experience leading a recruitment team and Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
