Director, Infrastructure Program Management

Oversees the development and management of complex IT Infrastructure technology programs with multiple global work streams by planning, organizing, and controlling programs that support strategic objectives.


  • Development and management of technology programs/roadmaps.
  • Define sustainable goals for the program/organization.
  • Monitor program projects directly and/or oversee projects managers to ensure goals are met.
  • Work in collaboration with Agile release trains, development teams (internal and external), and stakeholders on quarterly plans and objectives.
  • Identify risks in conjunction with the development teams and stakeholders. Work with the project team and stakeholders (based on the risk) to define mitigation plans and ensure plans are tracked and status of the risks are reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Document and communicate decisions made that impact program direction and delivery.
  • Meet with stakeholders and executive leadership teams to discuss program status and goals.
  • Responsible for contributing to the development of departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Responsible for the output and performance of the project/program team(s), exercising significant influence on how the team members focus their time, conducting frequent communication to discuss expectations and provide feedback and coaching.

Qualifications Required:

  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competitions and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation, and facilitation.
  • Ability to management multiple and changing priorities.
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Agile experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-12 years' experience

Specific Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure project/program work; security and risk experience a plus
