Role Summary:This position will enable GE Digital to establish commercial leadership within key industrial verticals. Partner with the sales organization to present to customer executives an industry-specific vision that creates customer urgency to act. Ensure that the sales team is enabled to effectively connect GE Digitals capabilities to the unique dynamics of each customer vertical. Establish GE Digital as a thought leader within each vertical.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:



+ Oversees one or more industrial verticals. Articulate a point of view on how companies within each segment can leverage digital industrial capabilities to create sustainable competitive advantage



+ Within each vertical:



+ Describes and quantifies the sub-segments and associated value chains



+ Creates an overview of current and potential competitors and ecosystem partners. Within this context, document for company product and service leadership buy/build/partner recommendations. o Articulates how customer buying trends, technology developments, competitive landscape, and the regulatory environment affect the companys competitive position.



+ Maps the companys current and potential product and service capabilities to customer needs and pain points.



+ Aligns goals, feature sets, capabilities to business objectives for the product (i.e. Profitability, ROI, Market Penetration, Channel development, Brand Development, etc.)



+ Identifies the customers business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the products, Documents and quantify the value of solving customer problems.



+ Articulates how workflows, business processes, and company culture should change to realize the value of digital transformation.



+ Transfers all relevant customer and industry knowledge to our sales teams, partners and prospects in effective and innovative ways.



+ Serves as a key advisor to internal and partner sales teams. Collaborate with commercial leadership to accelerate pipeline growth, including engaging directly with prospects and customers.



+ Ensures that the global commercial organization, including sales, is enabled to leverage industry expertise.



+ Maintains a presence in the field with key accounts



+ Is considered a peer to senior leadership at customer firms.



+ Proactively drives product, portfolio, and investment decision to balance customer needs, install base requirements (refresh) and long term enterprise differentiation. Challenges program/product planning assumptions while empathizing with multiple points of view



+ Defines and/or influences pricing strategy for product/ services and alignment across functions and organizations



+ Establishes relationships in the market intelligence and research community



+ Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses



+ Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices



+ Recruit, manage, and develop a high performing team



+ Inspire the industry team to develop a sense of ownership of our success within a vertical across all dimensions: marketing funnel, sales funnel, product/market fit, services readiness, and ecosystem support.



+ Coach and mentor the team to develop skills and capabilities.



+ Help the team prioritize on initiatives that produce the highest returns for the company. Share technical, procedural, and business knowledge with others.



+ Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 10 years of professional experience in B2B software experience.





GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed





Eligibility Requirements:
