Role Summary:Serves as a Lead for Global Oracle ERP DBAs and System Administrators; focused on design, build & run of GEHCs ERP systems. Ensures that that team executes the System, Application and User support activities around the globe. Also, as a technology expert, provides deep technology insights in system architecture, support and system performance. Has a strong grasp of technical & architectural fundamentals of Oracle e-Business system administration. Strong communication & collaboration skills.

Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

Lead, mentor and energize high performance ERP database and application administration teams across geographies to manage large, complex mission critical ERP environments

Provide business application architecture review, design & development for Product

Provide predictable service management to improve service to our end users of Product

Ensure Product compliance with regulatory, GE & GEHC Controls & audit support

Be a domain/business expert in Product to guide teams, establish/refine Product management processes and build and mentor a high-performance team

Work to plan, design, test & execute Oracle eBS (Oracle E Business Suite) administration tasks around availability & support.

Responsible for managing application performance and availability for Oracle applications.

Drive technology change management process for the application support operations.

Participate in technical and business discussions relative to future architectural direction across Oracle e-Business Suite ERP platforms and associated 3rd party products

Work with application and security teams to promptly address security vulnerability issues protecting ERP applications, database, infrastructure and technology stack

Champion the adoption of new technologies and develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

Own and execute root cause analysis process for the Oracle ERP technical activities

Manage business expectations with respect to SLA and process performance for the Oracle ERP administration areas.

Interface with vendor team to ensure proper escalation and issue resolution.

Perform technical trouble shooting on Oracle ERP Applications and give consultation to project and business teams.

Act as a technical mentor to the application administration team and manage them.

Clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management

Drives and is accountable to define and support operational models as aligned to Global Initiatives

Drive automation, innovation using contemporary technologies to improve speed, quality and cost of deployments, support and user experience

Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver

Strongly customer oriented, drive urgency

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines or equivalent work experience.

Oracle EBS implementation experience in different capacities is a must

Good understanding of architecture & technical depth of ERP & Oracle Engineered systems is a must.

Desired Characteristics:Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of EBS technical architecture and database & apps admin functionality

Knowledge of Oracle products, specifically Oracle EBS ERP version 12+ and underlying database(s)

Extensive knowledge of operations processes including incident, problem and change management

Should be able to use a pace layering approach to increase the return on investment in the existing ERP implementation

Proven ability working across tech. stack components and providing L4 support to lead a world-class e-Business Suite DBA and Apps Admin team supporting a global, 24x7 Oracle EBS environment

Expertise in implementation & upgrades of Oracle ERP

Experience with ITIL and ITSM processes especially incident, problem management and associated service delivery metrics

Understanding of ERP architecture, processes, and incidents

Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements

Prior knowledge of DevOps tool sets and experience in DevOps is a plus.

Experience with Github, Jenkins or other DevOps tools for automation initiatives is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization

Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization

Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends

Identifies the customers business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the Product

Functional understanding of logistics, sourcing, manufacturing and close the books business processes

Ability to interact with Business stakeholders and solve business problems spanning across functions

Adept at business process change management.

Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses

Extremely high degree of customer focus and responsiveness is a must
