Trustwave is looking for a talented Digital Content Marketing Manager. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the organization through the strategy, creation, and development of Trustwave's digital content.
WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:
Trustwave is looking for a talented content marketing manager. You'll help us organize and improve our online content and give us a powerful voice across our website, online marketing initiatives and social communications. With the improvements you'll bring to our online content in terms of quality and design, you will ensure that our website visitors, email readers, and social engagers can quickly understand who we are, what we do and how we can help solve their challenges with a unique and compelling value proposition. You will also help us ensure that our marketing team continues to create (and demonstrate) a measurable impact on revenue and our business.
SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Must be an exceptional writer - you're able to translate content from many sources and in various states of quality into organized, compelling online stories.
- You understand the journey -- you know how to put yourself in your readers shoes to deliver them content and information that's organized in a way that they can digest, when they're ready.
- You have proven experience implementing best practices in writing for the web (SEO), social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.
- You know how to draw content and story lines out of all kinds of people, including people who are not that great at explaining what they know, and you can work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
- You are organized and meticulous, and you can document and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and keep everyone posted.
- Everyone you've met has noticed your exceptional communication and organizational skills.
ADDITIONAL NICE TO HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience managing content and production for high traffic websites.
- Prior experience developing content strategy and content standards.
- Prior experience working as an editor of B2B web content and managing social media marketing for business sites.
- Prior experience in content development in the field of information technology required (IT Security experience is a big plus).
- Knowledge of HTML and familiarity with front end web design is helpful.
- Understanding of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, or similar) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, MIS or a related field required.
