## **Job Mission**

Help our partners in Field Support maximize ASML tool performance,
by providing a responsive one-stop shop for diagnostic support, specialized
skills, and knowledge.

Support, exceed expectations and delight local Samsung Austin
customer.

Build technical knowledge and skills to a high level toward the
goal of traveling into "Technical Hot Spots" within the US and
possibly global customer sites.





## **Job Description**

Evaluate and diagnose problems and make appropriate repairs. Work
with co-workers, customer, and technical support in isolating and solving
problems.

Monitor, maintain and optimize equipment on a daily basis to
enhance functionality and prevent problems.

Advise users of appropriate actions to correct malfunctions in a
timely manner.

Train customers in use and routine maintenance of equipment.
Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner.

Perform administrative and coordination duties which include
procedure changes, pass-downs, work orders, and field service, system problem,
and monthly reports.

Independently and accurately prepare written technical reports.

Provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced
ASML personnel as necessary.

Non-exempt position requires up to 50% travel, and the willingness
to work flexible shifts and extended hours including nights, weekends, and
holidays.

Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Ability to travel in US and internationally.





## **Education**

Position requires a BS degree in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.





## **Experience**

2–8 Year(s) of “technical” experience that should encompass working with and
understanding issues in the lithographic semi-conductor manufacturing process,
experience in the knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, optics,
hydraulics, software, or related disciplines.

Strong analytic capability and a pro-active initiating attitude.

Self-assured, capable of convincing people, also at higher management levels.

Flexible in working hours, travel and work environments Flexible for temporary
(inter)national assignments (3-6 months) Independent, motivated, and
self-sufficient.

Team oriented worker, good social skills, customer-oriented.

Familiar with MS Office products, MATLAB/MATHCAD, LabVIEW, Unix, Linux, and Python
(Preferred)
