The Power Distribution and Controls business has several Business Portfolios that enable the organization to focus on customers and, or market segments. The Military Platforms Portfolio team are focused on the through-life execution of our military programs outside of the F-35 program.



This role is a Customer Progamme Leader working within the Leonardo, BAE Systems Hawk, Boeing Military and Standby Instrument team. The team is responsible for the day to day customer interface, ensuring that the business executes on our contractual commitments, managing our products through life and securing ongoing momentum business.



The Customer Program Leader is part of the team and will have full responsibility for the allocated customer(s) and product(s)

**Role Summary / Purpose**

**Essential Responsibilities**



This role is accountable for the satisfaction of Customer and Business objectives for the Standby Instrument portfolio of products and allocated customer(s) throughout the full lifecycle (TG0 - 12). In this role you will foster a one team approach to customer satisfaction across the Matrix team through trust, accountability, standard work and operating rhythm. (Note: Alternative product/customer responsibilities may be allocated dependent on candidate experience).



+ Support and implement the product-line strategy

+ Drive GE performance to improve customer scorecards and avoid any customer disruptions.

+ Advocate Voice of Customer throughout the business

+ Ensure clarity of flow-down and tasking within the wider organisations to ensure that the customer order expectations are clear in terms of scope, schedule and quality.

+ Manage the order book. Ensure production/spares/repairs orders progress to plan. Provide regular forecast through to delivery of our commitments in support of customer satisfaction

+ Ensure timely resolution of issues or priorities impacting performance

+ Support Growth Play Book, S2 and Operating Plan and manage allocated revenue, profit, cash, milestone and order intake performance to plan.

+ Understand the business case and cost baseline to communicate and drive satisfaction of required targets such as recurring product cost and non-recurring development costs

+ Proactively support the regular rhythms to execute on our plans including: GEAPS, S&OP, QMI, Resourcing, Project Reviews, Obsolescence Reviews and Toll Gates as required.

+ Drive effective and efficient communication to the stakeholders. Build relationships both internally and externally. Lead and coordinate the Integrated Product Team (IPT)

+ Understand the relevant terms of the contract and assists in the translation of the contractual requirements to define the scope, performance baseline and associated metrics for assigned project(s)

+ Effectively escalate issues that threaten programme deliverables and/or cost and drives resolution cross-functionally in a timely fashion.

+ Responsible for ensuring appropriate export licences and governmental requirements are maintained for assigned programme(s)

+ Work with our customers to secure momentum business

+ Ensures appropriate business system inputs are maintained with accurate information at all times



**Qualifications/Requirements**



+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (preferred) or equivalent experience

+ Passion for customer satisfaction

+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally (as required)

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

+ Program management experience

+ Ability to influence others and lead small teams

+ Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

+ Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

+ Effective problem identification and solution skills

+ Proven analytical and organizational ability



**Desired Characteristics**



+ Experience at working with international customer base (preferably in the Military Aerospace sector).

+ Knowledge of international import/export requirements in a highly regulated sector.

+ Commercial/Contractual Negotiation experience.

+ Program Management qualification

+ Experience working in an electronics design/manufacturing organisation.

+ Experience with ORACLE business systems

+ Experience with SalesForce.Com business systems
