Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall analyze customer requirements, available training methods and material, and facilities to design the required curriculum for classroom instruction.
- The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course textbooks and materials.
- The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall manage the instructional content for the assigned topic area.
- The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall develop, and deliver new content and make recommendations for revisions of existing topic area content that is covered by this contract.
- The Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall conduct practical exercise in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction.
The Level 2 Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall be able to perform the following tasks:

- Conduct periodic course content review and provide recommendations for training material revisions
- Incorporate knowledge of Wireless and Mobile Technologies vulnerabilities into training materials
- Incorporate the impact of changing Wireless and Mobile Technologies into training materials
- Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area
- Apply industry best practices in adult learning principles and theories
- Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities
- Conduct courses relevant to the assigned topic area
- Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None
- Clearance Level To Obtain: Secret

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Level 2 Qualifications: The Level 2 Cryptologic Instructor (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) shall have:

- A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field and four (4) years work experience in the specified topic area (Wireless and Mobile Technologies) to include all of the following:
- Three (3) years combined experience with the IEEE 802.1x protocols in all of the following concepts:
- RF Theory
- Antenna Theory
- Wireless Signals
- Wireless Security
- Wireless LAN Topologies
- Wireless Protocols
- Wireless Algorithms
- Wireless Communications Standards and Architecture

- One (1) year combined experienced in one or more Mobile Technology to include:
- OS design/architecture
- Hardware Abstraction Layer
- Kernel Responsibilities
- Executive, Environment Subsystems
- Security Accounts Management
- Object Manager
- Process Creation
- Virtual Memory Manager
- I/O Manager
- User-mode Environment Subsystem
- Application Programming Interface
- Application Libraries
- System Management Mechanisms and System Boot Process
- Authentication
- Account Management, and Vulnerabilities
- G3/G4 standards and vulnerabilities

- In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of applied, practical work experience, within the last ten (10) years, in Wireless and Mobile to include the specified topic areas listed above.
- Two (2) years experience, within the last three (3) years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the specified topic area to include facilitating student participation through role playing or operational simulations
- Formal, documented training in a web-based or distance-learning teaching technologies, to include on line forums and multimedia presentations (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal)
