Country Manager - Onshore Wind Vietnam

Role Summary:This role entails core Sales and business development related activities for the OnShore Wind business of GE Renewables in Vietnam. Vietnam is currently positioned as a growth platform for Onshore Wind in South East Asia with government plan to add 10+GW of new wind capacity by 2030. The position will not just sell Wind turbines, but help customers develop the contours around wind farm projects by partnering with commercial operations, finance, projects and services teams.

Essential Responsibilities:This role contributes to the overall strategy for Onshore Wind. Key responsibilities will include:

Work to develop a pipeline of deals with identified and targeted customers

Manage customer relationship, end to end, ITO to OTR

Develop new customer accounts, by showcasing GE capability and technology

Provide input to region product line and marketing teams on developments and customer asks in the market place to sharpen GE solutions

Develop partnerships with developers and EPC providers in collaboration with development team

Be able to understand and discuss with Customers as well as the Financing community the intricacies of project finance and ensure seamless support to customers towards achieving project financial closure within targeted timeline(s)

Ensure SFDC as a Sales tool is updated and maintained for all customer interactions

Be able to have discussion with potential customers on AEP, IRRs and LCOE

Keep abreast of industry developments, and work with Government affairs and marketing to develop a GE point of view on issues impacting customers

Thought leadership in the Vietnam

Serve as a business partner to the operating teams to drive business initiatives, growth and profitability

Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sales Origination.

Desired Characteristics: Strong critical thinking skills the ability to assess various complex issues and come to quick solutions

Strong communicator concise & clear communication in individual and larger settings

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills ability to influence different stakeholders

Good understanding of electricity generation market with focus on Renewable energy participants

Established analytical ability as well as strong project management skills

Demonstrates GE values and growth traits

Experience and comfort in matrix environment

MS Office Suite

Fluency in Vietnamese language (speaking and writing) is must
