As the Country Sales Director, you will need to be comfortable working in start-up mode and will need to exercise entrepreneurial skills and driving in-market strategies. You will bring the mindset of a strategist, a marketer, an operations leader, a risk manager, a regulatory and licensing expert, and a business champion.

You will be responsible for the overall success of the build and roll-out of Western Unions consumer digital banking offering in your country market. You will act as a general manager, working with key in-market groups and businesses to understand customers needs, reaching target customers groups, and bringing together group and bank functions (including marketing, GTM, product, operations, compliance, risk, fraud and finance) to ensure that the proposition and its delivery meets those requirements. Additionally, you will work with other Western Union country leaders (e.g., of Money Transfer) to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience is delivered to WUs customers in the country market.

For such an important role, you will need to have extensive experience in retail consumer banking and/or payments, preferably in a digital environment; you will have experience engaging with customers and selling in a regulated environment. You will have demonstrated an ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at various levels internally and externally while having excellent verbal and written business English skills. You are a team player with the ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and under pressure, and with organizational and project management skills with the ability to break large tasks into smaller tasks that can be monitored and tracked. To be successful in this role, you will need to be native in Polish or Romanian and fluent in English.
