About the position:

The Coordinator, Research Unit will support the operations and administrative functions of the Research and Analytics unit. Reporting to the Senior Research Director, the Coordinator will have the opportunity to develop processes that contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team. Examples include coordinating logistics, drafting communications, working with our finance team to track project budgets, and coordinating with our communications team on external messaging of research findings. The Coordinator will also have the opportunity to learn research skills to support projects directly.

What youll do:

The principal duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate logistics for research and evaluation activities and assist with data management;
  • Support the development of memos, presentations, reports, and other tools to communicate the results of evaluation and research activities;
  • Coordinate financial, scheduling, and reporting tasks to support unit staff; and
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with JFF colleagues and external partners regarding activities and outcomes of assigned projects.

Who you are:

  • You bring two years of experience within an office environment in an administrative or coordination role.
  • You bring an interest and/or experience in being part of a research team
  • You possess strong project management and organizational skills, with experience in or a desire to learn project management tools like Workfront
  • You bring experience with tools like Excel for developing charts and tables
  • You demonstrate strong communication and writing skills
  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • You have an ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects and tasks
  • You have a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
