Position Summary

The Office of Academic Learning Environment (ALE) at Chicago Medical School seeks to hire a Coordinator for Diversity Programs. The Coordinator will assist ALE faculty in developing programs that engage the CMS community. They will provide support and be responsible for the coordination of Diversity and Outreach programs.

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a five-college graduate health sciences university dedicated to the interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals. Chicago Medical School, the original college of the five, has been educating physicians and furthering biomedical research for more than 100 years. Established in 1912, the founders built a combined medical school and hospital where working men and women could study medicine at night.

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
  • Three to five years of experience working in an administrative setting
  • Customer/Student service experience
  • Must achieve satisfactory results from a background check

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient with technology including Zoom, MS Office, Google Suite, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
  • Effective planning/organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
