Role Summary:As the Contractor Quality Control System Manager Design & Supply, your main task will be managing the project submittal register on the contractor side. To be successful in this task, the CQC System Manager will link Government contracts with contractor documents, identify the appropriate owner and determine the date to submit to client to avoid any delays on project delivery.



Essential Responsibilities:The CQC System Manager - Design & Supply is authorized and responsible to take necessary action to ensure contract compliance. The incumbent shall be responsible for certifying that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.



As the Contractor Quality Control System Manager, you will:





+ Ensure the overall project schedule is achieved by following submittals to ensure they are issued on time to client, with appropriate quality



+ Monitor progress of design to ensure that production or construction documents are complete, allowing for timely start of operations.



+ Review articles of the contract related to submittals and certify their conformity to contractual requirements



+ To perform this work, the CQC System Manager-Design & Supply must work with the project team mostly based in Montreal region (Quebec province Canada), and more closely with Project Planners and Project Engineering Managers







Qualifications/Requirements:



+ Bachelor's Degree



+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality support, including monitoring or supervision in a Design and/or Production & Supply environment



+ The candidate must be able to travel in USA and Canada





Desired Characteristics:



+ Experience working with Army Corp of Engineers RMS System



+ Experience in all aspects of design and production contract execution



+ Experience in project management. planning or coordination



+ Structured and organized



+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)



+ Prior experience developing and maintaining good working relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors



+ Professional Engineer (licensed and/or certified)



+ Technical background or with relevant experience will be evaluated



+ Fluent in English (both written and verbal)



+ Bilingual French English will be highly preferred
