Position Summary

ADP is seeking an experienced content creator to serve in a key role that’s part of the corporate content marketing program. The Content Creator will be detail-oriented and driven.  They will partner with key internal stakeholders to learn the ins and outs of the business and develop engaging content assets that align with business objectives (across the buyer’s journey).  You will work with a select group of creators and strategists to produce content and ensure it’s of the highest quality. Strong candidates have no problem asking questions and diving into data to develop innovative content that achieve content goals.  We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to think creatively. The Content Creator will update existing material, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach prospects, clients and partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Corporate Marketing to translate brand narrative, persona-based messages and brand guidelines into content strategy and creation.
  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating “short-form” and “long-form” content including website/digital experiences, blogs, buyer guides, product and partner collateral, client advocacy, sales and marketing campaigns and landing pages.
  • Conducting interviews and performing market research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
  • Seek out best practice examples, recommend and develop strategic assets that differentiate and push the envelope on creativity.
  • Manage the creation of deliverables within agreed upon SLAs in compliance with existing governance process.
  • Write social captions and messages to promote content.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
  • Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach audience.

Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing/communications or a similar field.
  • Experience creating strong, engaging content.
  • A portfolio of applicable outputs.
  • Experience making complex topics easier to understand through image and word choice.
  • An understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
