We are actively seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team.  This individual will provide compensation support for various business units, and the administration of compensation policies, processes, procedures and compensation training.   This role will work very closely with HR business partners, including international locations, advising on standard and complex issues. 



  • Manage various compensation programs including, but not limited to, salary planning process annual merit, variable pay programs quarterly bonus and commission, and equity programs.

  • Participate in salary surveys.

  • Work to integrate functional and technical requirements for special projects or process improvements.

  • Manage and support systems, tools and methods to ensure scalability.

  • Prepare requested ad-hoc reports from HRIS system.

  • Manage the annual salary structure review process.

  • Conduct equity and wage compression/alignment analysis; modeling and determining the financial impact of compensation related recommendations.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and recommend program updates as necessary in line with market trends.

  • Conduct analysis and make pay recommendations or external and internal job offers, including reviewing requests for promotions and providing guidance on salary increase decisions.

  • Monitor and audit pay practices to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and wage and hour laws.

  • Work with HRIS with Job Code/Family set up and Job Title maintenance in HRIS system.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure complete inventory of job descriptions.

  • Conduct job evaluations and participate in FLSA job evaluations to determine exemption status.

  • Conduct reviews on existing and new jobs to recommend grade assignment.

  • Provide support for Executive Compensation review.

  • Provide support for Board Equity review.

  • Work on various HR projects as assigned.


Required Skills

  • 5+ years Human Resources experience, with 3 years of direct compensation experience

  • Experience in Sales Compensation a plus

  • CCP and/or GRP certification a plus

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related disciple

  • Prior experience working with vendors and managers

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); including advanced use of Excel formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make recommendations and decisions

  • Strong audit skills

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities, ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables with a high degree of accuracy

  • Ability to work well with a variety of employee levels and functions

  • Strong Customer Focus

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with HRIS systems, Ultimate Software a plus

  • Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion; maintain confidentiality
