Position Summary
The Physician Assistant Department at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is seeking a full-time faculty member. This individual's primary role will be a Clinical Coordinator but will include teaching and assessment of a variety of general medicine topics and clinical skills throughout the didactic and clinical curriculum.
All full-time faculty members employed by RFUMS are expected to engage in activities that are considered core to their primary role as a faculty member. These activities may include teaching, scholarly activity, and service.

- Participation in curriculum development, delivery, and assessment
- Instruction throughout didactic and clinical phases of the program
- Scheduling clinical rotations
- Clinical site recruitment and maintenance
- Site visits and continual evaluation of clinical training
- Academic and professional advising for students
- Involvement in the admissions process
- Participation in faculty development activities

- Direct instruction
- Curriculum management
- Assessment
- Advising and mentoring for students

- Grant procurement
- Research mentoring
Service activities vary and may include internal and external contributions through:
- Committees
- Contributions to the profession
- Recruitment
- Direct patient care
Scholarly activities and/or clinical activities are negotiated and determined at the department level and are primarily based upon the faculty track.
Required Education & Experience
- Master's degree
- At least 3 years of experience clinical practice as a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- An official transcript for the highest degree earned and also the highest clinical degree earned, if different and relevant to the position, will be required
- Must achieve a background check clearance

- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and problem-solving
- Apply the principles of interprofessional collaboration
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
