Position Summary
Responsible for distribution sales, internal and customer training and coordinated marketing of Solar Material, Energy Storage, Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and Energy Services to residential, commercial, industrial, and utility sectors.
Responsibilities
- Qualifies residential and commercial projects including site assessment, system performance projections, financial models, and proposals.
- Counsels existing customer in their entry into the solar industry by providing resources, training and access to tools and products.
- Serves as resource and lead in branch sales efforts toward Clean Energy products.
- Provides timely communication, information, and deliverables to contractor customers for project status and project material and providing technical details and knowledge to support customer sales and installation.
- Maintains Customer Resource Management to record opportunities, activities, quotes and follow up of Clean Energy product opportunities and sales.
- Communicates regularly with account branch to ensure order processing, shipment, and receipt of material.
- Assists customers and company sales with project collateral, resource material for interconnection standards/application/submission, site surveys, product selection and other aspects of an energy project.
- Attends training sessions and department meetings as required.
Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications
- Strong Customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Requires attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and strong math skills. Understands the concept of unit pricing.
- Drivers license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
