Role Summary:The SCADA & Network Support Engineer will be responsible to lead the resolution of technical issues which affect the reliable operation of SCADA systems of the Offshore wind turbines. He/She will also monitor the status of the wind farm network and face the network failures by proposing a solution or requesting support to engineering team.

Essential Responsibilities:Assure un rle de Product Service Engineer (PSE) en relation directe avec les quipes du dpartement Service, Ingnierie et IT consistant identifier les causes des problmes techniques affectant les systmes SCADA et les systmes de communication des fermes oliennes offshores, dvelopper des plans dactions correctives et prventives, en vrifier l'efficacit et aider leur implmentation sur lensemble des fermes. Elle/il aura pour objectif de collecter et danalyser les donnes des systmes dfaillants, d'expliquer les causes des incidents, de valider les actions correctives et supporter les quipes qui installeront les nouvelles solutions. Elle/il prsentera les rsultats des analyses en interne, en externe devant les reprsentants des Clients et diffrents niveaux de responsabilit.

Sera responsable du plan de maintenance des systmes SCADA en opration, bas sur de la documentation technique fournie par lIngnierie et elle/il assurera le management des configurations des quipements et logiciels

Elle/ Il:

Assure le support technique des quipes sur site qui font la maintenance des systmes SCADA.

Fournit un support technique pour faire face aux problmes techniques et dfinir les actions de correction immdiates

Collabore avec les autres fonctions pour dterminer les causes relles des problmes et dfinir les plans dactions correctives et prventives pour lensemble de la flotte

Participe la prparation des guides de dpannage des systmes SCADA

Conduit des plans damlioration (produit et processus) pour amliorer les performances des Systmes SCADA et des rseaux

Assure le transfert de savoir sur les systmes SCADA et les rseaux de communication au sein du dpartement Service.

The SCADA system functions of our off-shore wind farms are the real-time monitoring & operation of the turbines controller and wind park controller, and the acquisition of the historical data of these controllers.

The internal network of the wind farms provides the communication links required to any data flow. If it is mostly used by the SCADA system, other services as voice over IP, video streams, also require network to be maintained fully operational.

These services are hosted in virtual environments.

Main responsabilities :

- Work as a PSE role, working closely with Service, IT and Engineering teams to isolate root cause of technical issues the SCADA systems & the IT structure of the wind farms, develop both corrective and preventive actions, validates the effectiveness of corrective actions and support the implementation of those actions across the affected fleet. She/he is expected to collect and analyze data from the affected SCADA systems, carries-out data-driven analyses for explaining the root cause of the issue. He takes measurements on operating systems if required, develops corrective actions, validates the corrective actions and supports the teams implementing the solutions. He will present the work both internally and to customers at all levels of responsibility.

- Be also the responsible of the maintenance plan of the SCADA systems in operation, based on technical documentation provided by engineering. She/he will manage the Scada hardware/software configurations.

In addition, she/he:

Support the site teams for doing the maintenance of the SCADA systems.

Supports the Fleet Performance Engineers to characterize the technical issues and to establish the first containment actions.

Collaborates with other Renewables functions to determine root cause and define both corrective and preventive actions for fleet issues

Contributes to preparation of the troubleshooting guides for the SCADA systems

Lead improvement projects (product & processes) to prevent failures on SCADA systems or network.

Collaborates on SCADA and network technical knowledge within the Service department

Qualifications/Requirements:Niveau Master en gnie lectrique, IT, aronautique ou en gnie industriel dune Ecole dingnieurs ou dune universit.

5 ans minimum dexprience dans le domaine technique.

3 ans minimum dexprience dans un fonction dEngineering dans les secteurs de lEnergie ou IT

Masters Degree in Electrical, IT, Aerospace, Marine or Industrial Engineering from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 5 years of professional technical experience

Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in an engineering function within the Energy or IT sectors

Desired Characteristics: Exprience sur les systmes de contrles, de surveillance et des technologies associes

Exprience sur les processus de dveloppement des logiciels et la gestion des modifications.

Grande connaissance des protocoles de communication (OPC DA 2.0, WebServices, MODBUS), du langage SQL et des matriels des systmes SCADA.

Bonne connaissance de Windows.

Bonne connaissance de la virtualisation des serveurs.

Bonne connaissance sur les concepts de routage et commutation des rseaux.

Connaissances gnrales sur les architectures de rseau

Connaissances gnrales sur les couches OSI, VLAN, VRRP, QoS, VPN, NAT, TCP/IP.

Connaissances gnrales sur la cyberscurit et les pares-feux.

Connaissances gnrales sur les langages Bash, PERL or Python

Trs bonne aptitude de communication, de gestion de points techniques et dauto-organisation.

Bonne aptitude la prise de dcision et prendre des responsabilits

Connaissance et Respect des mthodes qualits pour lidentification ou la prvention de dfaillance, dfauts (RCA, FTA, 8D)

Aptitude travailler au sein dquipe multiculturelle, en valorisant lesprit dquipe

Disposition pour monter dans une olienne en mer de grande hauteur

Disposition pour voyager 25 % du temps

Optionnel :

Connaissance des normes IEC-61400-25-2

Certification qualit, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt ou quivalence

Experience with control and monitoring systems and associated technologies

Experience in a development workflow with the management of a backlog review and delivery of SW update.

Large knowledge on communication protocols (OPC DA 2.0, WebServices, MODBUS), SQL language and SCADA system components

Excellent knowledge on Windows Operating System

Good knowledge on server Virtualization

Good knowledge on network switching and routing concepts

General knowledge on network architecture

General knowledge of OSI layers, VLAN, VRRP, QoS, VPN, NAT, TCP/IP.

General knowledge of firewall and cybersecurity.

General knowledge of scripting like Bash, PERL or Python

Strong communication, leadership & project management skills

Ability to make decisions and to accept responsibility

Strong & methodological quality awareness and ability to identify future failures, defects and problems (RCA, FTA, 8D)

Ability to coordinate multicultural teams, strong team player

Ability to work within structured work methods

Willing to climb it the Wind Turbine Generator

Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
