SAIC is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to support the implementation of IT shared services for a large government agency. By establishing a common operating environment (COE) for all departments within the agency, all users will have access to a service catalog with automated service delivery that is implemented with commercial-grade IT practices. The COE will provide departments with multi-tier end user support and visibility into all IT costs.


- B.S. in IT related field
- Minimum 18 years of experience, with at least 7 years of service delivery and management experience in a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience performing BRM activities as a liaison between the service provider of common, commercial-grade IT services and end-users
- Service delivery and management of common, commercial-grade IT services
- Use of tools and dashboards to track IT costs, service consumption, and performance against plans
- Experience performing supervisory functions such as timely approval for time charging, expense reports, and travel plans; performance coaching and feedback; salary administration; and staffing functions
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Ability to lead the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) team of up to 12 FTEs to serve as liaisons and business partners between COE subject matter experts and the COE customer base (approximately 10,000 users)
- Ability to collaborate with the Implementation Manager and Chief Technologist to ensure customer mission requirements are met and agency personnel have are prepared and supported for changes in types of services or service delivery mechanisms
- Capable of communicating with senior executive management of the agency and SAIC
- Sufficient IT knowledge to accurately assess operational requirements, facilitate resolution of service delivery issues, and maintain customer relationships
- Ability to apply use IT cost tracking and service consumption tools and dashboards to communicate the value of IT services to end users
