Business Intelligence & System Integration Specialist

Role Summary:The Business Intelligence & System Integration Specialist will be responsible for leading the integration work for High Acuity Care products focusing on anesthesia, intensive-care and operation room management. In addition he/she is responsible to define and customized business intelligence reports. This job will include the analysis of customer requirements, BI consulting and implementation, design and implementation of integration solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:You will be part of a strong Healthcare Digital team.

+ Planning, coordination and execution of European wide system integration of High Acuity Care products with different communication systems like Hospital Information Systems, Billing Systems, Inventory Management Systems, Laboratory Systems, Electronic Health Record Systems, etc

+ Work directly with Healthcare customers and third parties on the development of the hospital workflow and interface environment

+ Consult customers in Business Intelligence and analyse / classify their requirements and ideas

+ Create Business Intelligence reports and dashboards

+ Work to solve incidents and problems related to existing customer environments

+ Close collaboration with the country specific functions such as sales, project management, application specialists and technical service

+ Close collaboration with global functions such as engineering, product management and marketing

+ Develop and improve tools, products, processes and services offerings

+ Design and build databases and logic like stored procedures for tools that support the high acuity workflows

+ Create, update and improve database cubes and complex statements for reports and statistics


+ Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, and relevant experience in Software Engineering or equivalent

+ Experience with industry standards like HL7, XML, XSD, XSLT, codepage encoding / conversion, Base64 encoding

+ Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, SOAP and RESTful Web Services

+ Knowledge of configuring interface engines ideally Orion-Health Rhapsody

+ Knowledge in Databases and SQL (scripting, stored procedures etc.)

+ Knowledge in MS SQL analysis services and cubes

+ Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Crystal Reports, Sisense, Tableau

+ Experience in JavaScript, PowerShell and scripting languages like Python

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Good communication and presentation skills

+ Problem resolution and creativity in solution development

+ Strong customer focus

+ Fluent in English

+ Valid driving license

+ The system integration projects will mainly be managed remotely but travelling to customers may be required from time to time (10% to 30% depending on the market situation)
