**Job Description**
**PrRoles and Responsibilities**
Develop existing and targeted strategic clients for the medium and long-term business objectives
Market research, identifying new opportunities & markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, new products and services
Develop the Marketing & Promotional Strategy
Develop strong Industry Networks to ensure inclusion in key Market Innovation projects
Develop the Industrial offering and value proposition
Plan and Coordinate Sales Campaigns
Work directly with and manage the sales team to develop the orders pipeline
Attend Seminars and Conferences where appropriate
**Other Key Tasks**
Create and present business presentations to all levels & Interface with other key departments & functions
Value propositions
In conjunction with the sales leader and account sales manager understand the account strategy and our competitive situation
Ongoing Development of the proposal template to best outline our value proposition to the customer
Consider the full Industrial offering, incorporating service scope and the after sales offering where appropriate
Assist sales with the presentation of proposals directly to the customer where appropriate
Markets & Geography
Cover a variety of solution and market areas but specifically power quality, control, drives and excitation systems for the Energy & General Industry markets
Provide support for solutions and services delivered out of the UK and primarily booked under the UK P&L
Activity will primarily be in the UK, Ireland, APAC, SSA, NAM and the Nordics, with the opportunity for some overseas travel
**Preferred Qualifications/Requirements**
Degree level in an appropriate subject
Industrial/Power Conversion background
PC literate and familiar with Microsoft tools, Salesforce and sap
Experience in capturing and interpreting customer requirements
Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach; good team player and effective communicator
Thorough proactive approach to work, with a sense of urgency to deliver quality on-time
There is an expectation that domestic and overseas travel will form part of the job
