What we're looking for in you
  • 3+ years of prior experience working with building automation systems and energy management systems. Niagara experience preferred.
  • 5 years of proficient understanding of mechanical systems: what they do and how they operate.
  • 5 years of proficient understanding of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • 5 years of proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together.
  • 5 years of proficient understanding of engineering and technology including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • 5 years of proficient understanding of building and construction materials, tools, and processes.
  • Niagara AX certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Honeywell products.

The purpose of your role as a BAS / Controls Service Specialist

The position primarily performs repairs and maintenance on existing controls systems and modifications to those systems. This may involve sequence testing, project graphics, and point to point verification ensuring the system runs as efficiently as possible. This position works independently at client or project sites to properly maintain controls systems, as well as provide diagnostic and repair services.
