Role Summary:The Avionics EMEA Senior Sales Staff Director leads the EMEA Sales Team. The individual is responsible for supporting the business to achieve its operating plan (orders, sales, profit, cash), identify/nurture/close strategic growth opportunities across the region, partner with marketing to improve overall Avionics external market presence, gather competitive intelligence, and facilitate broader customer relationships across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ In this role, you will interface directly with customers (both civil and military) across the EMEA region.

+ You and your team will be responsible for selling & positioning the entire Avionics portfolio with these customers and developing/closing opportunities.

+ The individual will need to work collaboratively with leaders of each business area and the President of the business to understand/align on strategic direction and deeply understand and then position with customers the solutions available.

+ For the EMEA team, you will need to develop the team to its fullest potential and foster a candid/transparent and collaborative team culture.

+ Success in this role will be securing key must wins with EMEA customers, strengthening and broadening customer relationships, customer advocacy and helping inform the business on strategy/investments, building a robust growth opportunity pipeline, provide valuable competitor intelligence and improve overall Avionics external market presence.

+ You will need to balance short term operational imperatives and longer-term strategic planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.

+ Essential Responsibility:

+ Lead the EMEA Sales Team. Developing individuals to their fullest potential and foster a candid/transparent and collaborative team culture

+ Support the business to achieve to achieve its operating plan (orders, sales, profit, cash).

+ Identify/nurture/close strategic growth opportunities across the region. Build opportunity pipeline.

+ Partner with marketing to improve overall Avionics external market presence.

+ Gather voice of customer/market and competitive intelligence that helps inform business strategy.

+ Facilitate broader customer relationships across the organization. Be a strong customer advocate.

+ Direct selling with customers across EMEA region.

+ Strategic campaign planning.

+ Involvement in overall Avionics business strategy and investment decisions.


+ Significant experience in commercial roles in the Aviation industry.

+ Have experience operating within a global business.

+ Have had previous experience in running a sales team.

+ Have direct sales experience and demonstrated strategic campaign planning and execution.

+ Have existing relationships with EMEA customers that can be leveraged in this role.

+ Knowledge of related products, services, and markets.
