In your new position as our Associate Director Compensation will join our North America Total Rewards team in Parsippany, NJ and provide support for our regional and global compensation initiatives. The Associate Director Compensation will partner with others in HR and Global Compensation team to develop and deploy competitive strategies and objectives in compensation practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Manages the annual compensation review cycle for the North America region (Canada, Puerto Rico and US) which includes merit, annual bonus, equity as well as market adjustments and promotions
  • Aligns with HR business partners to identify opportunities, improve existing compensation programs, policies and processes to ensure they support business strategy and help drive performance.
  • Provides advice to the human resources community and managers on pay decisions, pay guidelines, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation.
  • Reviews salary increases, transfers, promotions and hiring salaries to assure equity and compliance with policies.
  • Maintains compensation programs aligned to market by periodically benchmarking existing programs and recommend changes as appropriate.
  • Under the global framework and guidance, leads major compensation programs and initiatives in the North America region.
  • Audits and ensures that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policy and all government regulations.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve communication around compensation programs and initiatives and implement ideas in a timely manner.
  • Addresses issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
  • Provides ad hoc as well as self-directed reports and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, issues, etc.
  • Conducts data audits and support data integrity processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HRIS and Compensation systems
  • Participates in ad hoc projects and analyses as needed
