Job Description

Teva is searching for an Associate Director, Supply Chain to join our team in Irvine, CA!

The AD, Supply Chain Leads and directs the Production Planning/Scheduling and Material Planning/Buying functions within the Supply Chain department to ensure the successful execution of parenteral manufacturing and distribution.

You will:

  • Ensure that production planning and scheduling activity optimizes production capacity while meeting customer delivery dates.
  • Ensure that material planning and buying activities balance inventory targets and material requirements to support the master plan.
  • Ensure long-term capacity requirements are well understood and work to improve capacity utilization.
  • Work to ensure that production planning and material planning strategies are in alignment with corporate regional and global group strategies.
  • Ensure that special projects within Supply Chain's purview are successfully led and managed according to generally accepted Project Management standards.
  • Maintain appropriate vendor relationships to ensure adequate raw material supplies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant Science required. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of Pharma or Healthcare industry and knowledge of applicable GMPs related to manufacturing required.
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management required.
  • Computer competency, including MS Office and Advanced Excel experience required.
  • Strong analytical skills, and good Project / Task Management skills required.
  • Thorough understanding of ERP process required. Oracle and / or SAP expertise preferred.
  • Supply Chain Management certification (CPM, CPIM, degree in Supply Chain Management or similar) preferred.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships throughout organization and supply chain, and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • People management experience required, including mentoring and developing others.
