Job Description
We are searching for an AD, Human Resources to join our Global Operations team in Parsippany!
The Associate Director, Human Resources role will support a select group of our above-site Teva Global Operations (TGO) North America functional leaders and HR oversight of our NA TGO Distribution Centers. This position will be based in our US Headquarters at Parsippany, NJ. We are looking for an experienced global HR professional who can effectively drive talent management, OD/OE (organization development and effectiveness), leadership development, recruitment, employee relations, change leadership, and employee engagement initiatives within a matrix organization. The role will be a strategic and consultative HR business partner and assist in the development and implementation of human resources priorities and objectives in alignment with the broader organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ effective change management strategies to aid in business transformation initiatives.
- Support organizational change and design by working with senior management and Global HRBPs to identify business requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
- Formulate partnerships across the HR function (with multiple Global HRBPs, Centers of Expertise and HR Operations) to deliver value added service to leadership and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
- Work closely with leadership and employees to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness aimed at delivering stronger business performance.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition in the marketplace.
- Lead annual processes related to talent management and succession planning, performance management and compensation planning for the site population.
- Oversee all recruitment activities for the site and takes proactive steps to ensure there is a robust talent pool. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues accordingly.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as appropriate. In partnership with leaders, develop Performance Improvement Plans for employees with substandard performance.
- May serve as a project leader for HR and/or business-driven initiatives (i.e. organizational structure changes, cultural change, employee rewards, and organizational effectiveness).
- Provide employees and management with coaching and counseling, ensuring objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR management or related field required.
- Minimum 8 years of Human Resources generalist experience in a manufacturing, distribution and/or business facing global HR Role with demonstrated increasing responsibilities required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook); advanced Excel skills and strong statistical and strong analytical skills preferred
- Demonstrated experience in a demanding, changing, high performance work environment and team- oriented culture required.
- Strong track record of results achieved through collaboration, influence skills, and organizational and change management skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills required.
