Our Associates are the future leaders of our Investment Bank! They are key members of the Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) team. Associates help to originate new business linked to Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Infrastructure, and Private Capital transactions. Our CRS Associates assist the team in driving revenue and profitability from client portfolios while delivering excellent service. You will also assist and guide our Analysts in performance of their work.

About Us

CRS originates and implements strategic risk management solutions, primarily Capital Markets and Acquisition related, for the Corporate and Private client base. CRS services priority clients at the senior Treasurer and C-Suite level, addressing risk management needs across asset classes including interest rates, foreign exchange.

Required Skills

Here's what you might expect on a typical day:

Financial Analysis skills: Perform company capital structure analysis to determine hedge capacity. Develop Excel models, stress tests, and scenario analyses of various market risk factors that impacts a firm's corporate finance. Assess a client’s credit metrics, rating agency standing, and hedge accounting standards used as it relates to a risk management transaction

Communication/Presentation Skills: Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that explains a complex financial transaction in a clear and concise non-technical manner

Deal Management skills: Manage deal execution including the deal flow and pipeline

Client/Colleague skills: Coordinate closely with a member of our M&A team in preparation for and during a marketing call

Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
