Situated on a campus with all six health profession colleges, the cancer center is located within a vibrant and expanding basic and clinical research community with ample opportunities for collaboration within and across its research programs (see https://ukhealthcare.uky.edu/markey-cancer-center/research for more information).

The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology is located at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, adjacent to the Markey Cancer Center. Members of the department are actively engaged in a variety of graduate education and research areas, including basic & translational cancer biology, forensic science and environmental toxicology.
