Job Summary | The School of Information Science (SIS) in the College of Communication and Information at the University of Kentucky (UK) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of Aug. 16, 2021. Qualifications/Responsibilities: This faculty appointment is part of the online library science master’s degree program housed within the SIS in the College of Communication and Information, a member of the iSchools consortium. Candidates will be expected to teach primarily at the graduate level in the library science program with opportunities to teach across the School’s programs. Faculty are expected to teach, advise students, maintain a personal research program, participate in professional activities, and serve on university committees. Opportunities exist to work with doctoral students in the College’s interdisciplinary Ph.D. program.
