Job Summary

The College of Pharmacy requires faculty members to serve as Clinical Training Coordinators (CTC) located in Louisville, Kentucky. Faculty members in this position work directly with the Office of External Studies to coordinate and facilitate the Colleges Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) experiential education program in their immediate geographic area as well as the Chief Practice Officer to serve as a liaison to the College of Pharmacy and assist institutions and community pharmacies with the development of residency programs. The CTC will be responsible for coordinating and expanding rotation experiences of all students in their geographic area and work with the College to satisfy accreditation requirements for clinical education in the areas of preceptor training and teaching. The CTC will work with the External Studies office for preceptor development opportunities in the CEC and facilitate student-focused activities, such as case presentation and topic discussions.
