Shift | Variable hours. Spring class sessions are MW 9:00am-Noon, but models are not scheduled for every class every week. Please indicate your availability in the cover letter along with your application. |
Job Summary | The School of Art and Visual Studies at the College of Fine Arts is currently seeking Art Models for drawing classes. Models are expected to pose nude for student course work and should be able to hold poses from 30 seconds to as long as 45 minutes. While athletic ability is not required, body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3-dimensional qualities of the figure in poses is highly desirable. The work is performed under supervision of the class instructor during class hours. Models will be asked to wear a mask upon entering the building and at all times except when standing/sitting on the model stand at which time we will ask the model to remove their mask but refrain from speaking. Everyone will maintain a strict 6 feet minimum distance from all class participants including the model. Students and the Instructor will wear a mask for the entire duration of the course. |
