This is a varied role, which will play a critical function, delivering high-quality, cost-effective IT infrastructure and information security services to both Western Union and its external business partners.

Role Responsibilities:

Your tasks will be varied:

• Coding to testing and analyzing application software.
• Work on existing systems and assist the analysts to identify business needs.
• Recommending appropriate technical solutions and detailing key requirements.
• You will provide first and second line technical IT support for banking applications.
• Take part in testing projects aimed at minimizing the impact on revenue of potential system outages.

Role Requirements:

• Significant experience in application development, using Java and Spring framework.
• Knowledge of microservices with cloud-first and cloud-native experience (preferably on AWS).
• Exposure to ELK stack, Cassandra and Kafka is an advantage.
• Exposure to container-based services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent command of English as a working language is essential.
