Job Description
  • Operates general analytical instruments for routine testing of raw materials, product intermediate samples, and residual drug swabs using FTIR, HPLC, GC-FID, UV-Vis, automatic titrators, viscometers, densitometers, balances, micrometers, and other instrumentation as necessary under current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
  • Performs wet chemistry tests on samples such as chemical identification, pH, and titration. Conducts physical testing on materials such as dimensions, film thickness, viscosity, loss on drying, and residue on ignition.
  • Carries out quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of Development exhibit and pilot batches and other studies.
  • Prepares standard, sample, and buffer solutions as required by test methods and performs all necessary calculations associated.
  • Labels, transcribes and records documentation into electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) as required by SOPs.
  • Meets project deadlines and performance standards as assigned.
  • Performs investigations and troubleshooting of analytical test methods, lab instruments, and data.
  • Performs peer review of data for accuracy and correctness.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures and state, federal and local laws.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Science or related science field 
  • One + year related laboratory experience.
