Must be registered with the KY Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire or if previously registered with the KY Board of Pharmacy must be registered on day 1 of hire.

May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Shifts may be assigned to work during operating hours of Monday-Friday (7:15am-midnight), Saturday and/or Sunday shifts per location operating hours. May work in our 24/7 operation at Chandler Retail Pharmacy which may include overnight shifts. Operating hours and days of operation are subject to change based on location of assignment. May be required to work on some holidays which currently are being rotated by all Ambulatory Pharmacy Services staff.

Assists pharmacists in medicine preparation and distribution in a UK HealthCare Retail Pharmacy. Fills prescriptions in a busy retail based setting. May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Requires attention to detail and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Must be reliable and punctual. This position also requires teamwork, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and be understood in the English language.
