About The Role:

ARC is searching for a seasoned Airline Data Consultant to join our team. As an Airline Data Consultant, you will be a dedicated resource to one of ARC's largest and most strategic customers. You will work on initiatives spanning the air travel ecosystem in support of airline omnichannel retailing strategies and other key business objectives. You will be completely embedded in the customer's team, working full-time from their offices in Dallas, TX and/or Chicago, IL with occasional travel to various ARC office locations.

As an Airline Data Consultant, you will partner with business leaders and SME's across numerous commercial functions including sales, revenue management, and network planning and use your analytical, technical, and consulting skills to develop innovative strategies and solutions for the client that support growth and operational priorities that deliver significant commercial value. You must quickly understand the strategies and business of assigned clients, how they deliver value to customers, and become a critical member of the client's teams working on key initiatives.

You will be the liaison between ARC and the client and will be a part of a team that creates new, industry leading products leveraging data and analytics. Additionally, you will ensure clients maximize the value they realize from ARC's data products and collaborate with customers to develop new applications for, or based on, ARC's data products.

You role will sit at the intersection of strategy, products, analytics and reporting and must have firsthand experience leveraging data to solve the most complex business problems. You will simultaneously understand the big picture of global travel, the customer experience, and strengths/ weaknesses of various travel data sets and will have a proven history of bringing insights and clarity to airlines.

You will be an influential member of a team(s) that generate innovative and practical solutions to complex business problems, identify new commercial opportunities, and drive improvements to analytics and reporting. Work will span consulting, product development, data mining, analytics, trend analysis and performance reporting.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Provide insights and guidance to ARC's high value customers by serving as an integrated resource on airline teams working on strategic initiatives and projects. Be recognized by customers as a trusted partner and advocate. Identify and deliver solutions that help ARC's customers achieve the business objectives.
  • Contribute to ARC's strategic roadmap by supporting the development of customer-specific strategic plans and identifying opportunities for ARC to add value and derive commercial benefit from both specific customers and the broader travel ecosystem.
  • Broadly communicate customer objectives, strategies, challenges and opportunities with key ARC stakeholders. Provide fact-based feedback and the voice of the customer to ARC teams to help them continually enhance strategy, solutions and go-to-market activities to increase the value delivered to customers and the industry.
  • Model ARC's values and positions ARC as a strategic resource for our key customers. Succinctly articulates the value ARC's products and services deliver customers and the broader travel ecosystem. With assigned customers, establishes ARC as a market leader in the delivery of products and services uniquely positioned to support evolving airline retailing, payment and settlement needs.
  • Professionally navigate client organizations and helps ARC develop broader and deeper relationships with key customers.
  • Help build and expand ARC's consulting capabilities, understanding of the travel ecosystem, and customer insights.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • 7+ years of experience developing innovative solutions, leveraging data as a strategic asset, and demonstrated experience using data to inform strategy
  • Understanding of ARC's data and solutions and how they can be used to solve business problems
  • Experience working with multiple airline data sets including Direct Data Solutions (DDS)
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience working with one of the leading analytics platforms (e.g. SAS, R, Tableau)
  • Experience developing and deploying innovative, data-driven solutions to a business, sometimes for a non-technical audience
  • Experience engaging and consulting with employees at all levels and across functions of an organization
  • Data Analysis experience (both quantitative and qualitative), including data analysis for customer questions and solutions, marketing, operation analysis, and product data elements and how to use them, revenue/budget analysis, etc.
  • Ability to work onsite with our customer in their offices.
