Job Summary
The Department of Plant and Soil Science and Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab are looking for dedicated individual to assist the Grain Crop Integrated Pest Management Team and Diagnostic Lab in the development of both traditional and alternative communication outputs. This would include, but not be limited to, editing and formatting of print, audio, and video formats, and distribution of outputs to the target audience. This individual would also assist in the management and curation of the Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory social media accounts and management of Pest Management social media accounts. The individual will also assist pest management PI’s with the development and distribution of IPM barrier survey’s and follow up survey’s to evaluate the success of the Grain Crops IPM program. They will be responsible for the development and distribution of appropriate advertisement materials for pest management field days, webinars, and conferences, as well as reserving appropriate buildings/space for trainings, meals, and educational items. This individual will be located at University of Kentucky Research and Education Center in Princeton, KY.
