**Job Description Summary**

The Lean Leader will provide execution of Lean initiatives in critical areas across the business. Deploy the appropriate tools and principles to establish robust processes and results tied to the business KPIs and bowler. Execute a robust Action Plan, Bowler, PSR cycle. The Lean Leader will be a coach and mentor to drive the lean vision, and to plan and execute Action Work-Outs (Kaizen Events).

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As the Aero ITR New Units Lean Leader you will:

+ Shape the continuous improvement vision across the Aero ITR new units, in accordance with the business lean strategy, and translate the vision into goals, objectives and strategies resulting in cross-functional transformation which delivers consistent, year-over-year results.

+ Use Lean to drive the Leader Standard Work and Kaizen

+ Work with senior leaders to assess current baselines and determine the framework processes to be improved using the Lean methodologies.

+ Reduce customer and ITR lead time by establishing value stream maps and reducing waste.

+ Support simplification of the complex processes and manage cross-functional relationships to support business impact.

+ Lead the implementation of standard operating rhythms and provide key output data, metrics and presentations for reporting, operations reviews and business communications

+ Lead the Lean implementation across Aero ITR new units and drive cross-functional results.

Qualifications/Requirements :

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and 7+ years experience in ITO or OTR operations with proven track record of results using Lean methodologies

+ OR High school diploma/GED and 20 years of experience in ITO or OTR operations with proven track record of results using Lean methodologies

Desired Characteristics :

+ Demonstrated ability in solving complex problems and transforming results and process through the application of Lean techniques.

+ Lean practitioner, capable of facilitating kaizen events and coaching the core tools such as Daily Visual Management, structured Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement and Kanban.

+ Specific experience in reducing lead time through lean transformation.

+ Experience driving enterprise-wide transformation preferably in a major turn-around. The ideal candidate has been through complex change and tough situations; bringing a will to win with strong followership.

+ Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc. Can drive work around the world because they are accountable, trustworthy, credible, committed, and intellectually agile.

+ Change agent, able to make the case for lean and demonstrate immediate impact.

+ Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change.

+ Critical thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.

_The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $180,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
