**Roles and Responsibilities**



The Advanced Mfg Technician will act as documentation control coordinator as a member of the Tubes Operations team located at Electric Avenue and responsible for the supporting change control activities for NPIs, Installed Based and Manufacturing operations. Individual will work with the engineering and operations teams to help define the desired change and determine the necessary actions to implement it successfully.



The Configuration Change Coordinator Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



+ Ability to own and drive change control management including MRs, ECRs, PPCs, tooling verifications and local work instruction updates

+ Drive implementation activities for engineering change requests, specifically, with part revision changes, working with materials and supplier quality.

+ ECR/ECO creation

+ Part creation

+ BOM Mark ups

+ Resolving MWS errors (input support central cases, communicating with MWS team)

+ Facilitate or participate in change control review (CCB) reviews

+ Provide MWS training to engineering team members, serve as a junior librarian for engineering

+ Support costing activities for new product introductions

+ Own or support site quality & compliance activities

+ Own or support equipment qualification activities



**Required Qualifications**



+ BS degree

+ 3 years of relevant product change control management experience or 5 years combined new product design and change control management experience

+ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional and global project team.

+ Demonstrated experience bringing original design from concept to product release.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a strong aptitude toward customer focus

+ Capability to solve complex problems and fortitude to see it through



**Desired Characteristics**



+ High acumen with configuration management tools.

+ Change Control Management experience.

+ Familiarity with GE x-ray tubes product configuration and xrgen components (heat exchangers, etc.).
