Physical Requirements | This position requires pushing the mail cart to and from the mail room (daily), lifting and handling boxes of paper and other office supplies (weekly), walking long distances across campus (periodically), and sitting for one to three hours at a time. Repetitive motion. |

Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center is currently hiring an Administrative Support Associate I. This position serves as the front-line interface for the Markey Cancer Center’s Director’s Office and works with the Assistant Director for Administration to ensure smooth and seamless operation. Duties include but are not limited to: providing clerical, logistical, and administrative support for executive team; planning and managing special events; coordinating records collection to ensure compliance and continued accreditation; and overseeing scheduling of both facilities and individuals. In addition to being detail-oriented, the successful candidate will exhibit maturity and good judgment and have proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the capacity to work independently and with flexibility. This position will have a fully onsite work arrangement.
