Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include occasional standing and/or walking with objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). |

Job Summary | This position supports the responsibilities of the Strategic Operations Team which includes work to coordinate the integration with operations and supporting work teams. Required to work closely with the Hospital Operations Managers to help achieve enterprise mission and goals. This role will serve as the administrative lead for an assigned service line(s). This includes: typing correspondence for Patient Care Managers; maintenance /repair needs of the facility; will act as a liaison for leadership with EVS and PPD; schedule meetings; maintain calendars; coordinate purchasing needs for the service area; serve as a liaison between CNE staff and UK HealthCare departments as well as University staff; update TJC and Nursing Excellence bulletin boards; assists with staff rounding compliance calculations; and ensures entry of ADT and acuity data. This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted. |
