Physical Requirements

This position will regularly require sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time, and occasionally (less than 10% of the time) lifting objects over 10 lbs.

Job Summary

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office within the College of Medicine is seeking a Benefits Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing customer service to medical residents and fellows in researching and answering questions regarding employee benefits provided by the University, benefits by program and location as determined by GME policy, and student benefits.This position will serve as a liaison to multiple University and Healthcare administrative offices for benefits provided to medical residents and fellows.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining policies for benefits management, in alignment with University policies and ACGME requirements, as well as create and maintain tracking documents for benefits for payroll purposes.

Excel, Outlook
Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills are required for this position.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelors Degree plus two years experience preferred.
